BURNOUT 3 Takedown

BURNOUT 3 Takedown Has Anybody Played this game yet? I have to say it's probably one of the funnest games I ever played ( not just recently) ever!! If I ever had the chance to make the perfect arcade racing game, it will be pretty damn close to this, I've picked it up two days ago and I already got 20 hours of mileage on this thing, it's so fun and addictive, and I'm still Impressed by it's visuals and effects, 60frms/s always never chugs slows down or anything, smooth frame rate beautiful lighting and reflections, awsome effects, and of course the crashes the Crashes!!! and the adreniline in taking down your oponents, wow!! truly awsome. this game can seriouly give any racer thats out in the arcades right now a good run for there money. If you're into any kinda fast paced arcade games, then you shold'nt pass by without giving this baby a try. :rock:

I bought the first game, and only liked the graphics. So, no plans on buying the 3rd.

I'm not sure If this game is Overrated at all. But I suppose the company behind it is generaly an overrated company "EA" and everyting they make nowadays (specially arcade games) tend to be a bit over the top, plus EA has a solid marketing campain ( being the richest vg software company and all) I'm sure they do a hell of a job marketing there games, but if you really give the game a try, you'll notice there's not much hype about it at all, it's a great game, and it shows that it's made by ppl who have experince in these type of genre, there's nothing half assed about it, everything is solid, very close attention to detail, menus, graphics and everything. One thing I must hate about EA is there ongoing attemp to be so cool and "hype" with todays youth, they think they know exactly what the kids want these days, ( the punk/hip-hop fast and the furious "lazy generation") for one I hate more then the half of the soundtrack in this game, out of some 40 tunes (I think) the good ones IMO are very few like the Ramones, Frans Ferdiand etc. but the rest is saturated with teeny pop punk bands, yelling and screaming about speed, wrecking things and being lazy and shit (stuff that I wouldn't liked even back when I was in highschool) + there annoying, cheesy dj's and radio stations a'la GTAIII/Jet set radio. But anyway besides the annoying punk music, this game is not only hype its great!

that's how you quote, by pressing the quote button. If you want to now more and quote specific sections wrap {quote}{/quote} tags around what you wish to quote, of course replacing {} with [].
