Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Series Finale

Im surprised mad and weirded out all at the same time..


After Seven Years, which is a long time for a any cult television show to be on the air buffy ended tonight, I'm confused but understanding at the same time.


Anya is dead.
Spike is dead.(Though he is set up as a regular cast member on Angel, though i know i wouldn't consider it set in stone how he is alive still ;) )

Buffy is still alive, and i knew he wasn't going to kill her again.


Basically, they went into the Hellmouth(IE: Opening to hell) Willow used her powers on the weapon(that the main bad guy was hiding) that buffy found from the evil priest Caleb, and now every potential slayer(i'm not sure but ill need to read a script) has the same super powers as the slayer. I'm not sure if it is every girl, or just anyone who is a potential. And Spike was given an Amulet to channel the power to destroy the hellmouth while at the same time giving up his life. While the others fought for their life through millions of vampires, some of the potentials died, buffy almost died, and while they drove fast as shit while the entire ground surrounding the town of sunnydale(the place they have been in for the past 7 years) is now just a big ass crater.

Interesting notes:

Giles says there is another hellmouth in Cleveland.

We know Spike is going to be on Angel when it returns next season.

Now that there are more people in the world with the same power buffy is just going to take a vacation? I'm going to assume this and they made it pretty clear plus she does deserve a vacation and all.

Alot less people died then i had expected from this end all be all episode.

A few things that dissappointed me:

During Season 5 when buffy did die during the beginning of the episode when they show what happens from the last time they showed clips from all the past 5 seasons of the show. They also did this on the last episode of farscape which was a nice touch.

But on the last episode they only showed stuff from the previous episode, instead of clips from all the past episodes. Kind of weird, but since it's pretty clear they will be making another spin-off i guess they wanted to make it look like they are leaving it open.

But the whole town is just freaking gone!!!!!! no humans were killed because after all this time they figured out what's going on and decided to move the hell out.

I'm happy and mad at the same time....
 
Unlike Frenchy, FPJ is real, and he's no joke. The dude is a comic book WIZARD, and a Dreamcast mega fan. I wouldn't mess with him. But I'm just scared.....I know you're not.


P.s, now that Buffy is over, you can spend time with us. I remember on Tuesdays, you used to treat us as if we were nothing. I asked you to send my grandma a simple e-mail saying "get well soon...hope the operation goes well." But instead, you told me and her to STFU, cause Buffy's on in 5 hours. I cried for weeks.

Damn him to the depth's of hell for having my same hobbies, mixed with his crappy acting and attitude, he only leaches off of his wife's career. C'mon finch help me, you could go all Shenmue on him and ask him for the Phoenix plate which his rich ass probably has.

Well first off they plan on either making a 2 hour movie or mini-series or possibly a show based on Giles buffy's watcher entitled "The Ripper" which in buffy he has mentioned was his name when he was younger and would summon/rip demons from hell. But it may only air in the UK, but i'm sure it will get to the USA somehow or will end up being aired here also.

Secondly, they have stated that some of the characters from buffy will show up on Angel since it is going into it's 5th season, and Spike(James Marsters) has been added to the regular cast members which should prove interesting since he just died on buffy. I think buffy herself is supposed to make an appearance.

The other spin-off has yet to be determined, it could possibly revolve around one of the still remaining alive characters of the show or be about something else. Idea's were to be about Faith(but she turned it down for a show on fox called: Tru Calling), or Dawn(which most fan's are against), or possibly Willow.

I have a feeling it would maybe be about the other hellmouth mentioned in ohio, but maybe totally new characters. So it's still up in the air.
