Best Game Console (Xbox, GameCube, PS2)

Of the three newest game consoles (Xbox, PS2, GameCube), which is your favorite? DO NOT JUDGE ON A COMPANY'S PREVIOUS CONSOLES!!! And please-- NO FAN BOYS!! Thanx;)

my fav is xbox. of the three consoles, the game selection appeals to me the most and i like the capabilities that the hard drive provides, as well as the other specs. all three systems have their strong points though.

For Games it would be: Gamecube. (Zelda: WW)
Over all it would be: Xbox. (I'm a harware junkie and it has the power and hackability I'm after, I still play my dreamcast almost daily becuase of the emulators.)

It's a tie between the PS2 & Xbox, as much as I enjoy my GC I don't play it enough to really get hooked on it. I may when I get the GC-GB Player.

Xbox: HDD, DVD, 4 Controller Ports, top notch graphics & true 5.1 dolby digital, broadband adapter out of box, games like Halo, DOA3, PDO

PS2: Backwards compatability, DVD, Tons of games to play & great games like DMC, Xenosaga, Suikoden 3, GTA series, GT3.

So I like my Xbox for the hardware and my PS2 for all the software.

Xbox. I have about 30 games for it that I can enjoy. The PS2 I've had since launch and only own about 7. Only 1 of which I can say I enjoy (TM:B). GC all I've done is rent games which none have had me need to buy them. I guess I'm just not into that style of games. Then add in everything xbox can do and its controller and it's great.

i've played about 150 different games for ps2 and i'd say about 20 of then sucked really bad but the others were prety good ......xbox i've only plated about 10 games of which i liked all but xbox controls kinda suck too much like dreamcast controls plus it doesn't come with a dvd remote and you have to buy that part for it just to play dvds i heard

Yeah but you have to buy a memory card just to save games on a PS2/GC. So I think the trade off is pretty even if not weighted in the Xbox's favor, since you need a memory card to play your games but not a dvd remote.

good point but i don't mind the memory card trade off ....you gotta buy 3 parts for xbox only 2 for ps2

3 parts? What are you talking about?

3 parts.....dvd remote,2nd control,and the piece to play dvds

Yeah, the piece to play dvd's and the dvd remote is one and the same on the Xbox so really I dunno what Dragonzero was talking about.

I think that the GameCube is the BEST game console. It loads SO quickly on some games and has titles like: Zelda (WW), Super Mario Sunshine, ANIMAL CROSSING, etc. Unfortunately, to REALLY enjoy the GameCube, you need to speak Japanese. All the good games are only stay in Japan:angry: !!!!

Really? Tell us about some of the great GC games that have yet to surface here in the U.S. :)

GIFTPIA!!!!!!! (LOVE IT)
I'm not 100% if Bomberman Jetters is being made in the US. Bomberman World 2 is fun... RUNE 2. Viewtiful Joe. Cubic Lode Runner. And Ikaruga! POO POO TO YOU!
