Arcades?

In Georgia most of the local arcades are closing down or going out of business. I am just currious if you notice the same thing happening where you live? All we have left is Dave and Busters and Jillians.

Yo man Dave and Busters is the best place on earth, wow what a great place, I played it in Texas. Well here theres a bad one called Loco Joes, and theres people that come from everywhere to play, and they sell people beer to even lil kids when it came out, and there is always pool fights and shit like that, and drug dealers down there, I personally dont like the place, just from hearing about it, because I have NOT been there. I hear theres always cops there now, or it would get out of control again. I wish we had a Dave and Busters here, its so great! Is it good in GA?

Also I forgot to say WELCOME! So WELCOME MAN! I hope you stay long, and hang in there, lol! Enjoy your stay! :D

Dave and Busters and Jillians are good arcades but they are overpriced. If you actually do the math on those cards you end up paying around $1 per game. Also since most of the arcades are gone around here no one holds fighting game tournaments anymore. I really miss those. Some friends and myself are thinking about starting a fighting game club down here soon. We have everything we need but a space to hold the meetings. Hopefully we can get it started up and actually try to set up other clubs and use Xbox live to compete. Here I go off the main topic.

There was a place called Playdium "Sega City" about an hours drive from my house. I'm not sure they're still around. Used to be a pretty cool place.

Thats cool man, and sounds place both of you. Yeah D&B can be expenisive ( I guess), Well its more expenisive then any other place, because most arcades are around 25cent to 50cent. I dont know, one time in Texas you know like that watch machine one. Win watches, well 2 older guys were hogging it, and the won almost all the watches, im like wtf. They were real watches too, not cheap ones. All you got to do is shake that one and they all fall, lol! That place is so fun. Have you ate at D&B? Oh man there food is gooood. ha.

Its funny that this topic was brought up cause just the other day I was in the mall and the arcade had "FOR SALE" signs on all their machines. I sure am gonna miss playing some DDRMaxx.

I never really went to arcades, im not paying for anything unless it comes home with me, lol
I guess thats why we dont go to theatres anymore, why spend 20 bucks to see the movie once when you can buy the dvd and see it whenever you want....... lol Sure I have to wait till it comes out............

We had one arcade at the mall, it closed about 2 years ago. No one goes to the arcades anymore... why should they? I know I don't! My TV is bigger then almost all the machines screans and I don't have to pay to play the same game while drinking beer.
