Uh, I guess they would be metal, seems any rock music I listen to is "metal" I thought it was all just called rock music lol ;)

Seether is a trio of rock musicians that play a style of heavy metal mostly associated with the post-grunge era of alternative music, complete with depressing lyrics and a dark mood that accentuates their bleak sound. Hailing from South Africa, the group was discovered by Wind Up Records and instantly pushed to the moon by the label. They landed a spot on the popular Ozzfest tour and managed to release an EP while biding their time for the unveiling of their full-length debut in the summer of 2002.

I dont like grunge or anything that sounds near or like nirvana ...

Well, they are crazy good, but ive only heard the 2 singles they have, the lyrics are VERY nervana-ish but the music is pretty hard stuff.......

I just got the disc, pretty solid stuff. Love the cd art, there are 10 diffrent covers, each with a person holding a sign that has a diffrent line. I only no of 1 other cd that has multiple covers, Korn's Issues disc.
