Anyone here hyped about the new Rygar?!

I am! I loved Devil May Cry, and I love Greco-Roman culture, mythology, architexture, ad infinitum!
Rygar is right up my alley! A 3rd person Action game with beautiful art direction, great use of infusing Greek mythology w/ good ol\' monster bashing, and that DMC play-style/feel.

I\'ve been gobbling up all the screens/movies/previews that I can find!

Few PS2 games get me hyped anymore, it\'s cool to see that I\'ll still get some play time with the PS2 this thanksgiving. It was getting dusty.

Can\'t wait till tomorrow (11/26) when it comes out.

I was offered a beta build of this game; it required a debug kit so needless to say I couldn’t accept it.

The Diskarmor is a cool tool, however I heard that the graphics are a bit bland, like a lot of tans and browns.

Actually the graphics are better than FFX, very colorful, very sweet. The gameplay is tight with alot awesome Diskarmor moves/combos. The only gripe I have is that the game seems short (6 hours into it and it feels like I\'m near the end) and they make it a bit on the easy side with the conitnue spots.

Hey vicman I didn't know you were here, awesome! I dont have a ps2 so I dont know much about it, I have heard that it's really short.

It is unfortunately. Sucks because the gameplay is GREAT! This game is so much fun to play that it's a shame they didn't make the game longer. Once you have all of the diskarmors/abilities you really can go at it an tear some ass up! At least the game has alot of hidden features to open up, makes up for the short story length.

Hopefully youll be able to return it.

I bought it at funcoland unfortunately. they don't have a return policy for opened games. I'll probably try to trade it for a better game, if not I'll just hold onto it and play it every once in awhile.
