Alright bitches!

The front page has been too friggen stale for far too long and I for one think it's really hurting us. I assumed it was because we were'nt supposed to post anything till the new design was up but I've talked to Akuma and found out that that was not the case.

In that light Akuma and I talked it over and I'll be able to post official news, I've signed up for an account and hopefully will be registered with vgamin soon.
I want to know who can help? I don't mean crapping out a news post that was half assed once a week, I mean at least 1 news story a day? Sonic? Ice Knight? Adam? Hex?

I may be shitty at following up on review work but I am a news hound and do it normally for my own interests every day, let's bring some life back to the front page because it's near dead right now. Who's with me?!

I've added 5 stories that I thought were important from E3: PSP, Xbox Price drop, Gamecube/Game Boy Player combo, Ninja Gaiden info, MGS3 PS2 exclusivity...

BOUT TIME! We shouldn't be waiting for the new CMS because everything will be carried over... I'll have a small script that will import all the news, reviews, etc.

It's been dead because no one is doing their jobs!
 
I was busting my ass at one point with news but then I went to register with vgamin and those silly ppl took forever screwing with my account, so I have been waiting for that to get done, i'll begin posting some soon. But I mean were moving and all so I'm actually busy for once so i'll try to get what I can up.

Thanks Vic, I will be up and running along with you soon. Everything is just starting to turn back to normal around here so I'll have my sleep, work, comp, eat, and whatever the shit else schedule worked out real soon.


Ice Knight & Sonic, when I asked you to sign up at vgamin I also asked you to find news from other sources while you waited. This is one I used to use when the site FIRST started:

Just sign up there and use them while you await a reply from Vgamin. (The only reason I don't like useing them is becuase most of there news is from the UK and they watermark there sceen shots.)


If you guys like your jobs then please do them or I will have to find someone else who will. ( I don't want to have to do that.)

I put up 4 more news posts: Midnight Club 2 ships, Mafia announced for Xbox/PS2, Splinter Cell debuting 6/6 for the GC, & Bloody Roar Extreme (Xbox) shipped...

Well I might as well turn this thread into "What News Vicman has posted today"

Seems so far that today is a slow news day for the industry and only 1 news story worth putting up:
"NEW DOWNLOADABLE MAP FOR RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN: TIDES OF WAR (XBOX)"

It's in the Xbox news section since it's not really front page worthy.

LOL thanks, the main Admin at Warchant.com uses it when he bans ppl. I thought it would be funny to use it for a bit. :D
 
Well i have been posting the xbox news when it has been getting neglected ...ANd been posting game previews i find intresting here in the xbox forum and ps2 ...
 
I posted 8 news stories since it had been about 5 days since my last news posts. Also Adam wants access to Vgamin. I don't feel confortable sharing my username & password so can you Aaron share yours or should Adam look elsewhere for press releases?

P.S. Adam always make sure to have atleast 2 paragraphs in the first message field when you post news, you need to give readers enough to bite on so they'll click "read more"...
