what is your opinion on the movie 'daredevil'?

my opinion - roflmfao. im sorry, i just couldnt take this movie seriously. i saw it a month or so ago, but just felt like making the thread now.

the whole thing was over the top. i thought the highlight (lol) was when he (daredevil) beat up the 3 bullies with his cane when he was a blind 12 year old. LMAO. the way they tried to choreograph everything, i dont know, i just found it hilarious.

anyhoo, i just really didnt care for the movie. they tried to pull too many strings, the emotional appeal, the almost matrix-style fightscenes. bottom line, if you're looking for action id stay away, but if you're in the mood for a great comedy then rent it!

Lol, radiohead, you do know this is based on a marvel comic right?

Being a comic fan myself i thought it was fine, but didn't stay true enough to the comic itself.
:\ i do know that it was based on the comic, but frankly i still thought the movie wasnt good. not that im biased or anything, 'cause ive never seen any of the comic. the movie was just... lame (IMO, of course ;)) who knows, maybe if i knew the comic beforehand i would have enjoyed it more... but once they started it off with a blind boy smacking around these bullies with his cane and having them run off, to pulling this sappy 'woe is me' storyline... i had had enough. and the best moments were the cheesy one-liners they put in there, in one instance followed by a pause in the action and wink/smirk at the camera

The story is corny because it's coming from a comic book, an example would be in the spider-man comics peter parker was smart enough in his teenage years to make webbing as strong as steel. In the movie they change it to organic webbing that physically shot out of his wrist to make it more beliveable to the movie going audience.

LOL I love his story of woe, his dad was a washed up fighter and a drunk and he was all sad when he died. You know he kicked the crap out of him as a child. He was a WASHED UP FIGHTER and a DRUNK, those two things make up a 100% child abuser. I also STILL can't get why he has all that billion dollar crap and he is a lawyer that dosen't work for money. (He didn't inherit it from his family.)

The movie is just strait crap.

This proves my theory on how they need to change certain aspects of comics being transferred to film, EVEN THOUGH the movie is science fictional. I don't think it properly captured the comic book and Kingpin isn't black in the comic. ;)

Funny but he contradicts himself, if he was a comic book fan he wouldn't be hating on the bullseye character instead, the way they did it in the movie. He would know who Elektra is, though he could be ****ing around and describing it to people who don't know shit about the comic book.

The movie is crap next to spider-man though.

And Lobo is meh Dark Horse and Marvel 4 Life!
