The Gangs Of New York

Just got back from seeing this amazing movie. It's a violent period film set in New York during the Civil War. It mixes in the Irish immigration flood, the anti-draft riots, and gang wars that add up to a city tearing itself apart.

Sounds good, now if i could find someone non-homophobic to the fact that leonardo decaprio is in it. I would.

As for Decaprio, those who don't like him will enjoy seeing him tortured by Bill The Butcher(Daniel Day-Lewis) who is kind of regarded as the leader of all the gangs. This movie is really ****ing far from Titanic.

Aside from my DeCraprio joke, i would go see this in the theatre. I'd have to find a girl tough *gasp* since so many frickin people do think it's titanic-esque when its obvious it's not, and never thought it was. oh well i'll see it eventually somehow.
