Sonic mega collection for gamecube...

I just noticed today, while browsing at my local Target, that the price of this game has been reduced to $20 usd.

I may have to pick it up, seeing as I am a huge Sonic fan, and loved the old genesis classics.

From what I understand it contains:
Sonic
Sonic2, my fav
Sonic 3
Sonic and Knuckles
Sonic 3d blast
and I am sure there are some hidden goodies......

Any who, pick this one up if you haven't already done so....

And from what I have now heard, the X-box version will contain much more games than the gamecube version. Including some of the gamegear Sonic games, and some Japan only Sonic games.
Why do the gamecube owners always seem to get screwed like this???

The GC version has a bunch of Game Gear games in it, but in reality it's a waste of money when you can just download those roms and play them on your Dreamcast via the SegaGen emulator. You could fit 500 Genesis roms per CD-R and have yourself the whole Genesis library on a few CD's for just a bit of work and little to no cost.

True, and usually the frame rate and what not will be much better on the roms than on the original version. BTW, Goldeneye roms are lots of fun with a Gamecube controller.
On a rom, it almost makes Goldeneye that much better of a game....

But, I have always been against this type of "piracy" even though it is technically not stealing....
