New art based on Goldfrapp

It's been a while but I think I finally made another good picture after starting a lot of dud projects or just tinkering with Avatars. This was another one of my rare moments where all the programs I was using actually worked together and I didn't get held up with stupid technical problems.

This one was inspired by the Goldfrapp song Hairy Trees on the new Black Cherry album. The final image is came out surprisingly close to the original concept I had.

Created with landscapes and foliage from Vue4, the character from Poser4, combined both in Photoshop where I also added the costum hair effect.

Wow, that's pretty sweet.

Why don't you create 3d more often? It sure looks like you know what you're doing. Game companies are always looking for modelers (if that's the sort of thing you're in to)

Work burnout I soppose. When I get home from my job I usually don't feel like doing much.

Also, I get frustrated by program glitches.
