Narrow Band sucks

I get to have access to DSL at work but at home I'm still stuck with crummy dial-up. :angry: :angry:

No fast quictime trailers(waiting forever for that new Matrix trailer), slow image loading, and most importantly no XBL. :angry:
 
My apartment isn't setup for it. Their cable system needs to be upgraded.

I soppose if I wanted to though I could put down a big chunk of change for satellite internet.
 
Yeah I had the same problem when I lived in my apartment, then the week we moved from the apartment and back into my Dads house the area got DSL. I debated getting sat for a long time, it is a lot cheaper now though and it might be something you might want to take a look at. I know places like Circut City offer a free dish and box if you subscribe to the TV service... they might have the same thing for the internet service.
 
Satellite Broadband will not work well with XBL. Very unpredictable and thus terrible for the consistency online gaming needs. And to think Akuma is our PC Forum mod. *scoff* Akuma=Bad Advice, remember that kiddies!

Yeah but being his only option it's still a ton better then 56K.

Not for the price he'll have to pay for satellite broadband. It's pretty unreasonable and be prepared for a TON of connection drops. :sick:

Well it's only 59.99 a month (Thats 10$ more then I pay for my cable) the only problem is the Hardware is 600$ freakin dollars.

(Go rip a dish off of someones house and duct tape it up on yours.)
