How many of you have worked on a Mac?

I had a Mac laptop a little while ago with OS 9 and thought it was the worst thing ever invented, these people talk about windows sucking? But now at school I work on some nice machines that are Dual G5 systems with the 21' Widescreen flat panel monitors and running OS X and I have to say that OSX is a great OS, it wouldnt be something I would run all the time but it does have it's perks the GUI is very nice and it has some fluid features that make it look all perty. Also the things people say about Mac's being more stable I found to be a lie, they arn't less stable then Windows but I have crashed Photoshop about 5 times now on the Mac and I haven't crashed it on Windows in a VERY long time... it might just be the coding Adobe has done to get it working on OSX though. How about you guys what are your experiances with Macs/Apples in general?

I never used MAC before until me Sophmore year in college, about 6 years ago. They say that the MAC was more user friendly then Windows...shit...I couldn't navigate through it if my life depended on it!! It sucked!

I see now that MAC has a cool looking desktop/GUI but nothing that grabs me and makes me go out and buy it. I just went to a hugh electronic store (Fry's Electronics - Damn...its like a candy store to me....I buy way to much stuff!!) today and saw how Apple is trying to make there computers pretty looking. Not the OS but the actual monitor and tower. You all know what I mean. It had its own table stand built into/or with the Monitor and tower.. :lol: ....what a joke!!

So the moral of my story is that I will never own a MAC unless they have a dramatic change!

I withdrew from an Image Design course about a year ago because we had to use Macs everyday in class and I just couldn't get used to those POS's! Running Photoshop, Macromedia Flash and the like was such a pain in the ass, I hate and have always hated Apple!

Yeah I wouldnt buy one and think PC's are way better machines, the Mac has some design flaws that make someone from a PC background have a ton of problems using the PC. I'm used to my Hotkeys in Photoshop using the Ctrl key... but on a Mac I have to switch to the Command key, which wouldn't really piss me of or be that big of a deal... IF THE MAC DIDN'T HAVE A CONTROL KEY! Why have the fucken key if you arn't going to use it?

Yea..its just to much difference in the MAC to the PC....that I don't like.

PC's were designed for average users and mac musta been for einsteins. Very complicated to do anything.
