DVD-RW DRIVE Problem

I recently bought a DVD-RW drive for my PC, and what really sucks is the burning software which came with it doesn't even install on my comp. Anyway what I'm really looking for here is a Great software that will ..ehmmm copy dvd's ( so I can back up my dvd movie and game collection) incase they get scratched and damage. A software that somebody here uses that can do both, games and movies, But i'm not sure how effective it is to copy games on dvd-r discs, since you need a mod to play them on your console!? or I could be wrong!??! I dont know :scurred: , anyway If anybody here can direct me to a website, or send the software to me personaly or give me a name of a software where I can find and download from popular filesharing programs, this will be much appreciated , thanks. :)

Re: DVD-RW DRIVE Problem

I personally like using a combo prog set up of DVD Decrypter for copying the DVD onto my HDD and then DVD2One to shrink the DVD to fit on a DVD-R. But DVD Shrink is a well known prog that does both in one, I just don't like the time it takes to do it.

Re: DVD-RW DRIVE Problem

Thanks Guys, I'm checking into both of the prog. mentioned above, I'll let you know tomorrow how did I do on downloading and using these software. Also going back to burning games on Dvd ( Xbox/PS2) is it possible to do that and play them wihtout a 'mod' in side your systems?

lol, unless you wanna do pain in the ass swap tricks on the PS2 and 007 hack that can fry your mobo on the Xbox I'd suggest divying up the $50 for the modchip.

Re: DVD-RW DRIVE Problem

Hey Doooodes!! I downloaded DVD SHRINK 3.1 / DVD Decrypter and DVD Region Free, off Limewire, even though I'm very hesitant to download ".exe" files , I took a risk and pheww, it was a small and quick file the package came with all the three programs mentioned above, and I have to say for 'free ware' softwares these programs are great, very straight forward and simple layouts easy to use (just the way I like it, I hate getting into too much "codes" and technical mobo jumbo when all I want to do is copy a dvd) , interestingly enough "DVD Region Free" seemed to be the most 'complicated' software out of the three, and I rather not use this prog. If I dont need to , almost all my Dvds and other Dvds that I want to burn are domestic, so If VIC or SHAGGY can let me know if I reall should worry about how to use this thing? or when to use it at all let me know. Anyhoo, I'm excitied that this ship works and it works just fine, and If you guys need a copy of some nice Jenna J. DVD porn let me know I'll send you each a copy, (including directors and porn star's commentary) thanks again

Re: DVD-RW DRIVE Problem

DVD Shrink & DVD Decrypter both have region clearing capabilities, so DVD Region Free is a waste of space.

Re: DVD-RW DRIVE Problem

I will use DVD decrypter to burn some things. But mostly Nero for burning and DVD shrink for ripping. DVD shrink makes it region free and also will auto boot and burn with Nero when the operation is complete.

Re: DVD-RW DRIVE Problem

I always turn that shit off because it crashes EVERY time and wastes a good blank DVD. So I just rip/shrink with 'em and burn with nero.

Re: DVD-RW DRIVE Problem

I thought so, thats just excess shit I don't need, thanks buddy, got it
Btw: I was just joking about the Jenna J. dvd porn I don't own any pornos on dvd, although I wish I did ... :scurred:
