DOOM 3 The Movie

Yes that's right, Doom 3 the movie...
Heard rumours that it would be coming out in late 2005, based off of the new release Doom 3.

Supposably going to star "The Rock" as the main character you play as in the game, but is up for change. I lost the link to the site about director etc, but it seems this is a go... look for more info in the workings!

PS. This going to be one freaky ass movie if it pulls threw

Nah, it's not the rock anymore. It was confirmed that the actor was going to be someone else, but I forget who it is.

Anyways, I don't get excited over videogame to movie, movies, anymore.

Yeah. The worst video game to movie adaptation, has to be the Mario movie, in 1993, I believe.

Not to be forgotten are the Double Dragon movie, Wing Commander movie, and the Final Fantasy movie.

The Street Fighter movie, with Raul, that guy from the Addam's Family movie, was okay.
Anyway, since I have not played Doom 3, I have no idea what the plot could possibly be. But I would have loved to see the Rock in it....
Let's just hope that it has a R-rating, otherwise, it will probably blow...

I think the best video game turned movie has been Resident Evil. The action and gore the movie has is great...

Agreed, but I hope it turns out well.
What about aliens versus predator the PC game to the movie, I thought it was awesome...but I am a action whore.

AVP, was okay, not great. The ending was lame and imo, the pg-13 rating reallly hurt it.

I am suprised that no one mentioned the MK movie, that was cool. At the time....
