Are you learning to do these using tutorials? Or by just messing around with settings and seeing what pops out? Also shoot me some PS tutorial/educational links. I have turned from PSP to PS so I'm now on the bandwagon!

its all about messing around and playing with different combinations. Check out www.graphic-forums.com and go to the adobe photoshop forum then theres a tutorial thread which should help u out. U can also get advanced help there so check it out.

havent done any designs for weeks, this is what i whooped out... the deodorant stick was painted wih a mouse

The stick is nice, esp. since you did it by hand, but what made you suddenly decide to make a mock men's deodorant ad? lol.
