Conan O' brien had been canceled..from Comedy Central.

Bad news, Conan fans. It seems as if Comedy Central, home of such funny shows as Reno 911, and Crank Yankers, has decided to drop Late Night from their midday line up....


Anway, some ramblings. I have always loved the show since its' debut in 1993. And I was saddened to see Andy Richter, his former sidekick, leave.
To me, it is not as funny as it once was with Richter.
IMO, Richter carried Conan's arse...

crank yankers isnt a "funny shows" it's more like a "shitty show ... with puppets" and do u know how long ago andy left the show? why the hell bring it up now. Andy didnt carry conan's ass but he was a important element

Crank Yankers blows, Mad TV blows, Reno 911 isn't great, The Gram Norton Effect blows... ect.... Comedy Centrals line up has REALLY gone to hell. Good thing the daily show is still on.

I used to watch mad tv, when it was funny....
I used to love the original cast, and the cartoon spy vs. spy.
Nowadays, it is, like you said, lame.

I enjoy Conan still, but thought it was much funnier with Richter as his sidekick. Conan's jokes about death and Hitler, or used to.

I vaguely remember In living color. It had one of the Wayans, and a younf Jim Carrey....

Remember the fire marshal character that Carrey potryed...

And as a side note, the first season of In living color has been released on dvd!
Yay!!

It's been quite a while since I've seen any of those. Never even heard of Crank Yankers Reno 911 or The Gram Norton Effect. I catch some SNL whenever someone puts up a link, but haven't seen any on tv since Will Farrell was on. I liked MadTV way back when it first aired.

I've always like the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and usually stayed up to watch Conan. The skit he does where they cut out the mouths of people and add in their own is funny as hell. They had Bill Clinton jokes practically every night. And that "If they mated" is funny too.

I hate the Tonigt Show with Leno. Letterman is much more funnier than him.

And I agree, that sketch on Conan, is hilarious. I wonder what happened to Truimph, the insult dog. He used to come on that show, and put down celebrities, and do on location shoots. He once took a tour bus in Hollywood to celebrities' homes, and insulted most
